Assistant Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders
- Qualification :12th class pass or equivalent and should possess current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) on the date of submission of application

Assistant Commandant Women (General Duty)
- Qualification :Degree of a recognised university with Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or Class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent.

Deputy Commandant (Law)
Qualification :
- A degree in Law with 6 years experience in legal matters.
- Should be qualified for enrolment as an advocate in a High Court
Desirable
- A post Graduate degree in Law
- Knowledge/Experience in Assignment connected with International Law/Maritime Law.
